Garden Tours -- Bannockburn Baptist Church and San Marcos

The Bannockburn Baptist Church Garden was the smallest of the gardens on tour.  While it was compact and located between a church school building and a large soccer field, it was delightful and had quite a few blooms.  Jack Campbell is the Garden Ministry Chairman for the garden and all the other gardens on the church property, which covers several city blocks.  ISA member Nelda Moore made it her priority to help Mr. Campbell in this garden.

The San Marcos Tourist Information Center Garden, twenty-four miles south of Austin directly on the west side of I-35, is a lovely garden comprised of circular raised beds which will become a permanent iris garden adopted by the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce.  It was designed and supervised by Iris Society of Austin member Lee Schroeder of San Marcos.
