Calendar 2020

Jan 13: Christmas Party, 6 pm at Joe’s Pizza & Pasta II, 1407 S 31st St, Temple, TX
          Annual social for members, family, & friends (dutch treat). Bring a named potted
          iris or rhizome (description/picture helpful) for our gift exchange all attending can
          play). Member door prize.

Feb 10: Meeting, 6pm, Potluck Refreshments
          Drinks: Elaine Passman

Feb 23: Fertilize, Divide & Weed Irises (working meeting), 2 pm, Temple Veterans
          Administration’s Community Living Center (CLC), which is Building 221 located on
          Road 3A. Bring your own drinks. Postpone if raining or freezing weather.

Mar 07: *Harker Heights Spring Outdoor Expo (selling irises at the seed swap), 9 am -
          1 pm, Harker Heights’ Activities Center, 400 Indian Trail, Harker Heights, TX.

Mar 09: Meeting, 6pm, Potluck Refreshments
          Drinks: Nelwyn Persky

Apr 10: Set Up for Spring Sale (working meeting), 1 pm at the Bell County Expo Center,
          301 W. Loop 121, Belton, TX. Bring your own drinks.

Apr 11: *Spring Potted Iris Sale, 8 am - noon, Held in conjunction with the Bell County
          Master Gardener Association’s Spring Plant Sale at the Bell County Expo Center,
          301 W. Loop 121, Belton, TX.

Apr 13: Meeting, 6pm, Potluck Refreshments
          Drinks: Bernita Culp

Apr 17: Set Up for Iris Show (working meeting), 6pm
          Bring your own snack foods & drinks.

Apr 18: *Iris Show, door open at 7 am, all entries due at 10 am, luncheon at noon
          at Tres Magueyes Cantina & Grill (dutch treat), public viewing 2 - 4 pm.

May 11: Meeting, 6pm, Officer Elections & Potluck Refreshments
          Drinks: Clare Aaron

Sep 14: Meeting, 6pm, Potluck Refreshments

Oct 05: Preparations for Rhizome Sale (working meeting), 6pm
          Drinks: BJ and Frank Wheeler.
          Bring scissors, staplers, & sharpie pens.

Oct 10: *Fall Rhizome Sale, 8 am – 1 pm, Held in conjunction with the Bell County
          Master Gardener Association’s Fall Plant Sale at the Bell County Expo Center,
          301 W. Loop 121, Belton, TX.

Oct 12: Meeting, 6pm, Potluck Refreshments
